Do religious people believe that God calls you home when it's your time?

Would you ever let someone die of natural causes because god decides their time? You're walking down the street with a loved one and they randomly keel over and eat dirt. Why would you call for help? This is not a troll question. I'm an atheist that doesn't believe people have a "time" to go. Or someone's "time" is up.
