How do i tell my parents?

First try out, if you are good enough and make the team then approach your parents. Tell them you went to try outs, made the team, and you really want to play. If the coach thinks you are good enough to play then that is one more point in your favor. Just remember you are a girl in a traditional guys sport they will give you crap and try to make life hard for you but if you are serious and give it your all you will soon earn there respect. When you are on the field you are NOT a girl you are a part of the team, don't ever act like a girl out there. But I would say go for it.
