What could be causing a blockage in the pathway that carries semen/urine?

The urine thing could be a kidney stone but you would be in a lot of pain. It might take a little while for you medication to kick in. Go to a different doctor if this one isn't on the ball. You would be surprised how many "stupid" doctors there are. Solving problems and memorizing text are two different talents.
