Do cartilage piercings with needles hurt more or less than guns?

im 14 and im thinking about getting my helix pierced. I have 3 lobs piercings in the ear that im getting it in, but im still a little nervous. Should i do it with a needle or gun, and where should i get it done??? My tolerence for pain is in the middle but im a little scared
