Bridal Party/Couple Introduction songs?

My FH wants to have Stairway to Heaven as the introduction song for the parents and bridal party and the Immigrant Song for our intro. Did anyone ever use either of these? My concern is that the words start before I think everyone will be introduced. Does that matter? Should the intro songs be entirely instrumental?
