Why are Tommy John and Bert Blylevin not in the HOF??

There is no earthly reason why they aren't. You have to remember: One baseball writer might be good, but if you put 2 together you have a babbling idiot. As a group, voting for the Hall and the post season awards, they are a nut house. When Roger Clemens had about 270 wins and it looked like he might retire, a writer wrote about how the cut off for the hall is really 250 wins. This, of course, because he wanted to justify the writers putting him in the Hall sense even then it was a sure thing for him. Neither Blyleven nor John should be left out. John, by the way, lost a good year and a half of his career, so he WOULD have had 300 wins. He lost the time to Tommy John surgery -- another reason why he should be in.
