What are some events described in the BIble that actually happened?

Doing a research piece and I'm trying to find some specific events that we have historical evidence for. The older the better so I'd prefer something from the OT. Actually I'd most prefer the oldest event. Evidence must be conclusive and please provide references. Things like battles, reigns of kings... anything like that. Thanks
